Just because they are playing old songs does not mean that they are going to be over.

They played great songs in 98 and 2000 (as I recall...correct me if I'm wrong) and they still came back

i heard that they're mixin up the setlists so much because they arent supporting a new album. the last couple tours were supporting everyday and BS. i also read somewhere (i think it was sumthin i got at a concert) an interview with Boyd. he gave no clues as to the band splitting up anytime soon. he was sayin how they still have a really good time on tour, and also said that they wanted to make a new album sooner rahter than later. its impossible to know if he was being truthful or not, but i have a feeling they will still be around for quite a while.

Yeah, they already went on "album" tours for all of their cds. What's the point of playing a bunch of everyday songs or BS songs if you already did that. It can get kinda redundant playing the same songs all the time. If anything they would go on a tour and play most songs from a certain older cd that they havent played a lot of songs off of recently. That would be pretty cool. Imagine going on a tour where it felt like they just released UTTAD. That would be pretty damn cool. Anyway, I can see Dave coming out with his solo album and touring with that through fall/winter, then maybe taking some time off in the spring/summer. Or they could write more stuff. I really wouldn't mind if they took off a year or so. There is so much to listen to in the meantime. You could start to trade shows and whatnot.
