Same here.. everyone i've talked to thinks it's awesome.

I just got back from the June 26th and 27th show and let me tell you. It was fucking awesome, I had been to three previous shows and these were both much better.

Anyone think that the band sounds a little off so far? I know we've only had the first 5 shows or so and they're just startin', but Dave, Leroi, and Boyd all seem a little weak to me. Anyone think the same thing or am I makin stuff up?

Makin stuff up, granted I was a little drunk the shows were awesome and very solid.

I'm really enjoying playing some of the newer stuff. Grace is Gone, Where are you Going and Bartender (agreed, not that new) are fun to sing. I'll get around to Big Eyed Fish, JTR and Grey Street at some point. I like it.

I stopped getting hung up on setlists years ago. Let the artist play what is important to them on any given night and enjoy the ride. I was at the final Gorge show last year and when the lights came up and I returned to Earth (those of you who were there will know what I mean) the first thing I heard was someone whining "no Ants, no Two Step...what's up with that??" I pitied the poor sod. In the previous 30 minutes we had just seen:
A huge "Tripping Billies"
Dave pour everything he had into "Halloween"
A kick ass drum solo
Dave and LeRoi team up for the most beautiful "Long Black Veil" ever
"Watchtower"...flat out

...and she was complaining...whatever
