I prefer Mayer's acoustic soloing, there's one solo he does, can't remember which song, but it was on acoustic, and it was amazing. I wouldn't mind seeing him, Dave, and Tim doing something.

I don't think you can fairly judge what Mayer can do with DMB based on this one performance. The others you listed have guested with the band at least a few times.

Im sure there is huge potential with mayer as a guest in future shows, (which i cant see happening) but like some of the others said i dont think they really mingle to well. When i first heard warren guest with DMB i believe it was a tape from 93 and Nancies and Blue water were flawless. John Mayer has a lot of talent but it just didnt blow me away like some of the other artists they have guested with.

if i transfered there i would have been at that show, and finally would have been able to see Ants Marching live.
