Favorite Summer '06 song?

I'm with you on Shotgun. That bridge/chorus does not match the song at all, its so awkward sounding when they transition to it. It sounds like they just slapped together two leftover ideas.

I voted IOY too. Just liked it best...

Though I guess I must be missing out on some Shotgun listenings, it's getting more praise that I thought it had. (the tittle doesn't quite do it for me, I imagine dave playing a shotgun instead of a guitar, honest).

Shotgun wihtout a doubt. Yes, IOY is a solid song, but for the most...its a finished song. Shotgun on the other hand has so much potential to grow. It started out as one riff, then by the end of the tour had its own form. While I agree that the parts dont mix well, the song still got better and better as the tour went on (minus the first time played)
