I was there it was pretty funny, i didnt recognize it right away and as soon as he played the main riff me and the guy next to me, who i didnt now, both yelled fuck yea at the same time and everyone else around us was clueless what song was being played

Wow, that was great, totaly new direction... I love it, but the transition between the new part and the regular part is a little sudden imo. If it were me, I would pause a bit between the transition and let carter lead into it with a roll or something and then go into it. I still like it, just not what I was expecting when they went into the transition.

i know this isn't the right forum but does anyone know how to play the new intro/bridge for this song? either standard capo 5 or raised b capo 3 would be awesome. thanks

I actually think the quality of the tape has a lot to do with that. Phipps' tape sounds almost as good as an SBD, you can hear what everyone is doing very clearly. I think there is a lot more going on in this version that we are not hearing. I can bearly hear what Leroi and Rashawn are doing.
