well i got 8th row seats to the Gorge this year...flying cross country from new york to the gorge, which has always been a big dream of mine. I cannot wait. im sure nothing will top this.
i enjoyed that trip last year! flew from toronto to vancouver to meet up with some buddies, and then drove from vancouver to the gorge. 9th row, best seats ive ever had. i dunno about you guys but i think the energy is soo much better when you get down close. i only wish i could be that close for more shows

I got a call from a buddy of mine that I really don't know on a Monday with front row tickets to the Tuesday night show in Madison for face value.

MOE.PHISH wrote:for the last 4 years at spac i have had lawn seats everynight dmb played. that all changed this year. to make a long story short, a friend of mines best friend is a son of a assemblywomen and has lots of cash to throw around. anyway, this kid played in a 5,000 dollar buy in torney and ended up winning 90,000 $ playing poker at turning stone casino in central new york, so the next week he bought a 2007 escalade 65 grand cash down, and preceded to buy 2 front row orchrestra tickets for dave for 500 bucks a piece. (great money management)
well, this kid got the tix for him and his gf, his g/f freakishly broke her ankle thursday night and thus the extra ticket was offered to me at 5pm friday night (half in the bag), needless to say i nearly shit myself. the show was absolutely amazing, i was front row out of 40,000 people directly in front of dave himself. cruising from Lee's Pond to SPAC in a decked out esco to sit front fucking row, it was something ill remember for the rest of my life!
anybody else have similar concert experiences

Ya i had the same experiance. My ex girlfriends dad baught her and all of front row tickets. Basically same deal, lots of money to thorw around. But needless to say that was one of the best nights of my night, chillen in front row at assembly hall for the whole night just letting soaking it all in. And the best part was we got free tics, limo ride, and got to shake dave and carters hands.
So ya, basically the best night of my life.

Red Rocks night 2. Third Row, slightly to the left of the stage. And if anyone has ever been to red rocks you know that the stage pretty much starts right where the first row ends so third row was just fucking amazing. Plus a night in Red Rocks is always a good night.

Press row (Right in front of the stage, in front of the barriers for front row) for State College 12/06/05 show for the first three songs, if I remember correctly Pantala Naga Pampa - Rapunzel, Crash, then When the World Ends. The newspaper I work at got me a photo pass. It was the closest I've ever been at any concert, even if they only let the photographers there for the first three songs.
I could have reached up and grabbed Dave's leg ... incredible
