as far as WH tickets go, the only time your seniority matters if if they do the selection that way. most of the time they don't with this latest winter tour as an example. i've yet to get truly great seats from the WH myself, but i've only been denied once so i'm not complaining.
they got rid of seniority alltogether to attract new members
i didn't know that. that's both good and bad imo. it was nice to have seniority based lotteries sometimes, but was good to have it be random for really popular ticket series.

Not really. What is unfair about it is that if you do it in the same state as the venue then its scalping but otherwise you're fine. There needs to be a nation wide law against it, not just state by state.

Thats what its called. When you buy tickets from ticketmaster or something and sell them for a higher price than you bought them. Its called scalping when in the state of the venue but for some stupid reason not illegal when out of state. Of course this is only for tickets, buying guitars, for example, and selling them for a higher price than you bought it for is just business.

yes, because warehouse consistently hooks people up with great seats and never fucks people over.

what you posted was totally irrelevant to what i was saying...i know what scalping is and don't need a lecture on it.

What you are saying is that people need to stop crying about not getting tickets, when the thread was originally created to be against others reselling tickets for crazy prices. It was definately not irrelevant.

if you can't find tickets to any regular show for face, you don't deserve to go anyway. it's so simple. i know i'm a prick about it but this is nothing new.

any concert ive wanted to go to, ive gotten into, either you have to wake up early, look around for tickets, or just go at show time, and wait for the band to just about go on, and buy one from the scalper. ive gone to shows that are sold out for under face, its simple. if you have some guy who wont sell them to you for the price you want walk past him and say eat the price of the ticket i could give a shit. they will negotiate with you.
