I really hope a video of this pops up. The Post-Gazette Pavilion is notorious for having good security (double edged sword I suppose) but Randolph just wents nuts during this song. He tipped the guitar all the way forward and continued to play, then later on had his leg over the guitar and continued to slide underneath of his leg. The entire venue just dropped it's jaw.

I didn't know RR played the guitar!

Yeah RR brought some mad energy to that show. When they brought out the lap steel, slide guitar, whatever, I thought we were gonna hear Grace is Gone. But this was definatly badass.

I am sure he was playing his lap 10 string guitar, that's what he usually plays now. Like Nitro said.

I have the Crossroads Concert that Eric Clapton did a while back, and Robert Randolph was there.

On his song called "The March", his band is called Robert Randolph & The Family Band, he played the 10 string Lap Guitar and when he solo'd he kicked his chair out from under him and started dancing while he played.
Just like the thing Jerry Lee Lewis use to do when he played piano, if any of you ever saw him do that.

It was bad ass though.
