Row K Stalls Hammersmith Apollo tickets going on ebay today

Unread post by Khimaros » Fri May 05, 2006 11:16 pm

Guys,

i don't know if this contradicts posting regulations - if it does accept my apologies and delete - but i thought it would be worth mentioning here that i've got two tickets that i'm about to sell on ebay for the Hammersmith apollo gig. They are row K in the stalls - that's about 20 feet from the stage... I paid £300 for 4 tickets and two of my friends have bailed so i'll be looking to try to get my money back on two of them. but they'll be selling from £1 no reserve.

I'd rather a serious Dave fan gets them than someone in the right place at the right time so thought it should get a say on these here pages. They'll be listed under my same username 'khimaros' on eBay, going up in a few hours on a three day auction.

laters. :D

Chick on the phone wasn't sure when I asked. A couple of thou at the most. All standing, the odd seat dotted around.

Richard Walters. Clear any razor blades in the vacinity before visiting,

There's nothing wrong with queuing. I'll get a blanket and some beer. I'll even bring a guitar if someone promises to turn up and play. I'm not playing!

Looks like Manchester Academy holds 1800 for anyone who's going. Now to put in in perspective, if you were at the very back, do you still think you could see or wud it be shitty?

i estimate there are (from photos) 30 accross, therefore 60 infomal rows of people. less than a foot a row, at worse youll be 50 feet. the size of a small chinese resturant

or roughly Six Giraffe necks...

So, several people heading to Birmingham...we need to decide on a place to meet up beforehand. Sadly (!) I've never really been to Birmingham before, so don't know any pubs...a friends aunt and uncle own a pub, but I'm not sure how close to the venue it is...
Who said they'd bring a guitar? We're going to need some form of entertainment if we're queueueueueing for a couple of hours...

i cant bring my new tack but id love a guitar (and tunner) there.

i know my way around birmingham

i recomend going to the bullring (new st station, the big one) area (get some sushi or something, there are plenty of bars around there, then walk on to the venue.)

im going with quite a big group of friends so im sure we can work it out that we are not all queing at once.

so wait. is jason P flying over for the gigs.

Hold on, I'm not going to Birmingham gig. I'm going to the Manchester one. So if I bring my guitar, someone going to the Manchester gig will have to play.

Right, who's going to the Manchester gig and who's going to the Birmingham gig?!

Stick it in the car 10 minutes before the doors open.

Don't mind putting anything else in there (like Camcorders, coats, peoples wallets, £50 notes...)
