Unread post

Well, in light of the fact that I am now a post college waste of life living with mommy and daddy, I've sifted through 30 pages of a thread on Ants that might possibly have some album info... The story goes, some kid got a picture with Dave outside the studio and then a few days later actually got into the studio because his dad is selling the band floor seats for the hornets ball game. The kid posted another picture of him holding Dave's guitar standing in front of Carter's kit all mic'ed up. The kid has been spitting out random info here and there, who knows how much of it is true. Regardless, the kid was there. Here's a recap of what I got out of the thread:
- He saw a track listing written out with songs named "Skworm" and "Garden Horse". A while ago, Dave twittered the word "Skworm" so that could be ligit, probably just working titles. When the band plays a lot of new songs on tour, the names of the songs on the setlist are weird at first a lot of times.
- Apparently there is an EP in the works (That is about the only information that I think is true at this point). The kid saw the track listing for the EP and it included Sugar Will, #27, Cornbread, Sister, and Idea of You. I don't think that's true because towards the end of the summer tour the band started calling #27 something elses. I can't remember what it was, but it was something like "Hope You'll Be By My Then". In any case, I think it has evolved pasted a numbered name and if he really did see a track listing for the EP, it would not be called #27 anymore.
- There is a possibility that the album could be held back until June. This kind of seems unlikely since they have scheduled an album release party for April. If the kid is really telling the truth, he said there's a possibility that he misheard what Cavallo told him and that Cavallo was saying the EP was being released in June.
That's the talk on the town. Also a lot of buzz about information on a single being released tomorrow, cross your fingers. If you want to take any truth in that crap above, I would say bank on the album being comprised of totally new material and a separate EP being released after it with a lot of the songs from the past summer tours that we have heard.
