I don't even know why i'm back in this this thead. I love dmb's music and that's why i listen to it. To all the people saying they used to love #41 but now they hate it because it's changed soo much. Its changed soo much cause dmb has been playing the song for the past 12 yrs. The stone is also an amazing song musically, and seek up is amazing both musically and lyrically. Like i said, i don't even know why i'm back in this thread.
......leaves thread.

Do they put something in the water in this forum? Does a thread ever go without someone making the accusation that "if you don't like song X you're not a true fan?"
Honestly, let's think about this. #41 has been played for 12 years. I don't think it is as good as it used to be, and it definitely has changed. The assumption that just because it is old it is somehow the best, or should somehow be revered is just bullshit. That's like saying that because George Bush is President, he must not be a blithering idiot, especially not since he got "elected" twice.
Come on. These threads aren't going to yield any real, psychologically revealing information. Very few of us here are thrilled with the band's recent directions. OK. Our opinions matter just as much as whatever opinions you have. How are any of us worse fans?
By the assumption that the band changed #41 over 12 years, and I should like it because it's #41, I should like every song simply because all of them are performed by Dave Matthews Band.
And this just seems like every single thread in this forum.

I agree to, pointless question asking to pick your most hated of the typical favorite dmb tunes.
I don't feel competition has a place in music. I no longer pick favorite bands/songs/musicians, of course I have preferences along the way but musical taste is very subjective. A much more effective survey would have been to pick a fav amongst the tunes to stir conversation but that horse has been beat to death aswell.
To defend the thread, there's not much else to talk about in regards to DMB at the moment, no tour going on or anything, its all in fun.
