BEFORE THE SHOW (u may not care, but I'll always remember that day, and not just for the show
)We (most of the people of the italian community) went to the theatre about at 4 PM and waited for Dave to come at the back entrance.
Suddenly, a car moved away from the theatre...we knew he was coming
When the car came back, it stopped a while before entering the theatre...we wanted to take as many pictures of Dave we could, but from the car HE was taking pictures of us!!
He saw all our shirts (http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/9169 ... ionwd1.jpg) and said: "Oh, u all wear red t-shirts!...Oh, the Italian community!" Everybody started shouting "Give Dave a damn t-shirt!!!" but the guy who had all of them disappeared!!
So I took my t-shirt off and gave him mine He spent just a few minutes with us, then went into the theatre, so we went eating something...
Since most of the ppl wanted to eat in a very expensive place, me and a couple friends went to take a pizza...the bad thing is that the other ppl met Dave, Tim and another guy walking around and got a bunch of photos!!
THE SHOW
Since Dave didnt want our posters in the theatre (he said it was a "stadium-ish" thing, but took the posters anyway), when the girl who was in touch with the tour manager called him, he said he had a present for her...2 BACKSTAGE PASSES AND 2 TICKET UPGRADES TO THE 1ST ROW!!
She gave me the upgrade and i had 1ST ROW SEAT 16: 2 METERS FROM THE STAGE!!! the point is that there was no stage!!

Two Stepi dont remember much of the show because i was just hypnotized...
i think that Dave didnt talk as much as usual but had some Italian sentences written on the screen in front of him. he kept saying "Bella Gente" over and over...funny stuff! (here's a lil vid from a friend of mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuJkqXpHt8I)
tim solo on dancing nancies was FANTASTIC!
sad eyes didnt seem a new tune to me, but just a lil intro to DDTW...i could be wrong though...anyway, it was just a strummed D chord i think...
when he came back for the encore, he picked up the baritone and started talking...i saw him taking a pic so i was sure he was gonna play Cant Stop, but he thought a lil bit about it, dropped the pick and played SD
anyway, it was such a great show! Dave messed up some guitar parts (not inusual
) but his voice is SO FKING GOOD!pics coming soon
