Stream Cover - Tim Reynolds

Unread post by Willin » Wed Jan 10, 2007 7:59 pm

Here's me covering Stream by Tim Reynolds. Keep in mind that it's just a rough interpretation because I didn't want to learn the whole thing note for note. Thanks for listening, guys!

very well done, some minor timing errors but hell, you're covering Timmy so it's understandable. Wish I could play that half as well as you can.

Keep the covers coming :)

i love how everyone is saying "good work" and "keep it up" etc, like old seasoned pros encouraging an young wippersnapper of an amature.

what we should all honestly be saying is, wow, that was unbelievable awsome and id be supprise if more than 5 of the thousands of members could play it.

awsomeness, i remember i got it in my head to learn it, but after about an hour i could play about the first 10 seconds, t'was not for me

I agree it is pretty awesome!

And although I am not one of those 5, I can identify one thing I would work on: to try to relax your right hand a bit; it seemed to be tense, which makes keeping the rhythm harder.

Thanks a lot for the post!

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys, they are very appreciated!

Yea, now that I look back on it I can definetly notice some timing issues and other stuff that needs to be worked on. Thanks for pointing it out though - sometimes it's tough to realize what you're doing wrong, especially after the first few listens.

Oh, and as for why this is my first post in like.. years, haha. I got a little burnt out on DMB stuff but i've been trying to record some songs lately and I decided to revisit Stream and I thought some people might find some value in it.

^that was a run-on sentence and I am proud of it^
