"I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Gonna kick some ass in the USA. Gonna climb a mountain, gonna sew a flag, gonna fly on an eagle. I’m gonna kick some butt, gonna drive a big truck. I’m gonna rule this world. I’m gonna kick some ass. I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Rock, flag, and eagle!"

- Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": "I once saw this in a movie, it was about a bus that had to keep it's "speed" above 50, and if it's "speed" dropped, it would explode...I think it was called "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down"!

I remember listening to a friend's mix cd back in '98 and Crush came on. I must have played it 15 times in a row I loved it so much. I bought Live at Chicago and that was the beginning of the end. The next year Luther came out and I loved that so much I picked up my dad's beat up old acoustic, fixed it up a bit and played the hell out of it. Then I turned into the DaveHead I am today and couldn't be more proud of it.

My roommate took a trip to Virginia for a fraternity function. While he was there someone gave him a cassette of "Remember 2 Things". He brought it back and we loved it, and listened to to it quite a bit. At the time that was the only DMB accessible in our part of the country. The band hadn't released a record on a major label yet and back then Al Gore was just in the process of inventing the internet, so we had to wait a few months until Recently and UTTAD was released to get our fix.
