i work for the money. i used to landscape too matty. i was thinking about doing it again sometime, i loved the work/exercise. and it pays good too. who knows.
"it is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all" and i agree w/ this whole heartedly. if you give up on love then you're letting the best in life pass you by. even if you do get burnt a couple of times. (not directed towards you matty, just in general

)
peace and LOVE brothers...and sisters

Ok I would like to take this time to officially remove my foot from my mouth. Sorry matty about the lecture I was definately being hypocritical from some of the earlier comments that I have made. To reword and paraphrase what I was trying to say:
"I cannot imagine my life without the emotion of love."
Again sorry and try not to think of this post every time you see my name.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

Aw shucks. How sweet. Gives me a warm fuzzy.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Here's my definition for love:
It's the feeling I get when I think about shaving my head with my father right before he died of brain cancer just because I didn't want him to go bald alone.
It's the feeling I get when I think about playing basketball with my stepfather right before he died.
It's the fear I got when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer two months after my stepfather died.
It's the happiness I have knowing that my mom is finally happy, engaged once again.

I'm not trying to get sympathy or anything. It's been five years since my father's death and a little over 2 since my stepfather's, and I am definitely over it. I just want to make sure that people realize that they need to love everything they can, because one day it really won't be there...take advantage of everything you have and enjoy and love every minute of it. It really frustrated me hearing people say that there is no such thing as love. Those people are just in denial, I think. For some reason or another, they don't want to admit that they do, in fact, love many things in life.

yeah, there are many different levels of love that one may not be aware of. I love beer, but not in the same way I love my parents, or not in the same way I love playing guitar, or not in the same way I loved my dogs. But I guess this thread aims towards the love for a girlfriend/boyfriend. or maybe love isn't true, it's just something that we do (Madonna) and maybe love is a lie because we had love but she still said goodbye (John Mayer) oh well, I love these boards

good, and you?
