he has a cool voice and a great delivery, but he's a gimic and i dont get what makes him better than other reggae artists.
So, you don't like Dave?
Okay, I'll give you Bartender and Christmas Song, but that's out of a 100+ song catalog.
I think some would argue that the basis for many (not all) of Dave's lyrics are religious.
I personally don't care for Matisyahu either. He's alright, and for the most part, sounds like every other reggae act out there.
Do we have the audio of this song?
I think you're combining religion and spirituality. Dave is agnostic (at the least), and he rarely sings about religion. Spirituality, sure.
Right on. I'll accept that counter.

have you e3ver listened to reggae before? cause the only thing i can give the guy is that he is unique in his distortion and injections of rock.

You have your opinion, I have mine. We both don't like him.
And yes.

I have listened to reggae before.

agreed. but seriously check, i think this song is worth it just for the end. i mean everyday in general, not just this version. the #36 outro just makes me feel so good every time. i know it's not the real thing, but i love it.

but biyd's voice onm the outro was SOOOOO BAD
but liek i said, i think matisyahu fit in well, i think he's a gimic, a talented giomic, but a gimic none the less. I wouldnt mind hearing him on a track studio or more live.

oh absolutely. they need to turn boyd's mic off on the outro. they can let him think he's singing...but we won't hear it.
as for matisyahu, i like his music. of course he's a gimic, but does it really matter? some of his stuff is really pretty cool. like his beatboxing. hahaha. awesome. i wouldn't mind him on tour like this, but in the studio.....eh.
