Some Devil Tablature Book?
I was just curious if anyone knew if there was a "Some Devil" tablature book being released. Also has anyone found tab or been working on the song "Some Devil"?
"Excuse me please, one more drink, could you make it strong cause I don't need to think"

Too true I think it was McCartney who said " We put Sgt. Peppers out on Thursday and Jimi was playing Saturday night" That guy was fucking unreal like you said. Even Dylan won't play his version of All along the watchtower after he heard Jimi play it.mastermindmatthews3436 wrote:or you can be jimi hendrix who learned most of the beatles songs and played some live after the beatles album had been out for a few days?? fuckin amazing guitarist

Um, Dylan still plays Watchtower. He has a few live versions on albums after Hendrix did his version. Also, he did one time try to do it the way hendriz did, and the crowd didn't like it (bet they really wanted to hear folk, not rock/blues).
Anyways, I am not huge on Hendrix's version of Watchtower. I prefer Dylan more because the song was written as a folk song, and I think it sounds better when it is a folk song.
*now dmb takes the song to a whole new level keeping the folk true, but able to really tear it out with keeping the true feeling*

I like U2, actualy I like them ALOT. Many people have compared their albums to DMB, since they both had their first albums produced by Steve Lillywhite. Also, people compare Joshua Tree to Before These Crowded Streets. I can see quite a few similarities, there was something on Nancies.org (not the boards, the news) that went into depth.
