Please God No!!

If i had to(as in me) replace one of dmb it would be dave for sure. I cannot play the drums and the base i've never really played. I really suck at the violin and i haven't played a sax in years. I could def. cover enough dave tunes to pay a whole show for sure.

I thought the question was kinda funny this being a dave's guitar discussion forum

I'd replace the lovely ladies with CHaka Khan, Lil Kim and Peebo Bryson

how about Butch Taylor, the guys too cool to become part of the actual band. Besides you can find a million good keyboarders to take his place.

I'd definately replace boyd, he may know how to play his intrument, but he has a poor sense of musicality (e.g his solos are poorly contructed), and he only adds to about two songs (pig and halloween(and thats mostly kronos quartet). On the other hand LeRoi has a wonderful sense of musciality, all is solos are melodically and rhythmically well constructed see warehouse and jimi thing from central park. So i am not down with the leroi bashing! Also stefan is a very good bassist he comes up with original lines, think of all the bassist who just stick to 8th note root notes.

out of mere interest what does "word" mean, agreement or disagreement.????

and if you could give the route of the word, that would be great.

sound lacking in some sense.
but hey. I like to be agreed with from time to time, no matter if the guy has facial hair on his neck

*awaits boyd bashing*

Explain how he is repetitive, please. It's his job to keep the groove down and let the band play on top of him during the jams. You can also thank Stefan for Dreaming Tree and Rapunzel, and that alone is enough to keep him, even if all he played was straight 8th note roots all night long.
i agree, a ood bassist in a band like this needs to be able to take that back seat that he does. I thikn if he did vary more it would create a cluster fuck of sound.

I would replace boyd because he has too many pubes.
