i concur on some songs, sometimes its just too much, sometimes he doesnt lay back in the pocket, and it sounds forced, unnecessary and out of place. ive always been curious what his fills might sound like if he played acoustic with the band, or if it would just all get lost in the music.

I agree. Also on Live at red rocks DVD from this past summer ( i don't remember which song) they go back and forth and have a little duel at soloing and then afterwords they give each other a little fist pound. I think they are cool with each other and like feeding off of one anothers abilities.

well even still, I think LeRoi has fun with him as they seem to complement each other pretty well from what I've seen.

i like rashawn in small doses... i think the occasional guest song was okay, but i am not sure that i will dig it when he's up there the whole show.

Yeah same here. The more I think about this the more I don't like it. Their sound is big enough.

I never heard the band with him...does anyone have a download or something'?? (not that i'll be getting a lot of 06 tour that is, but at least to have an idea of what this guy can do)
