Not a chance.
And I want to make one thing clear, I hate Everyday. Its just that when you think of it in the context of a pop album by any other band besides DMB its not all that bad. Thats the point of my thread.

Of course when you compare it to the other albums it sucks, but as a standalone I gotta say its pretty damn good.
Am I missing something here?
Let me explain yet again.
Whenever I listen to Everyday it is inevitable that I will compare it to other DMB albums and I can't help but think about how it marked the beginning of the band selling out musically. It makes it unbearable for me to listen to since, for me anyway, it marks the end of the band as I knew it. But just for that one time last week, I tried to listen to it in a different context. I didn't compare it to other DMB albums. I didn't let myself think about the debacle with Lillywhite and how this CD was created in 12 days. Instead, I tried to compare it to other pop rock bands. By doing that I was able to appreciate it for what it is. A pretty good generic pop album. I hope people understand what I'm trying to say.
Im not arguing with you. I was just browsing this thread and saw those two different ideas and was very confused.

I should have explained myself better from the beginning.
