I have about 4000 songs or so, so the chances of the perfect Love makin song are pretty rare to come up. Well, we were doing our business and #41 from Listener Supported came on...I was like damn..hell yahh! The part where leroi and carter go crazy at the climax....its prety nice guys.

Leave him alone! So what if he likes to climax with Carter and Leroi?

If you go to http://www.dmbnewstudioalbum.com and listen to the 6-string acoustic riff that dave plays at batson's request in the beginning........ it sounds just like the riff they jam over in the 6.30.04 soundcheck clip. It sounds like jimi thing sort of. I dunno if i can post the soundcheck mp3.

Since they played JTR it's obviously off the shelf after not seeing action for a while. Is there any realistic chance of it making a studio cut either on the CD or a bonus disc?

I know exactly what you're talking about and I use it for a jam in Jimi Thing when I play it.

I thought the same exact thing. It seems like they've been reworking it. LeRoi was playing the pennywhistle at the beginning, which is new, and sounds pretty good. And at the beginning of the jam, Boyd is supposed to do that long slide down the violin, but he was just messin around with different notes, a little soloing almost.

It might just have been rust for not playing it lately a lot. I just hope they make a nice cut of it. If it doesn't fit the feel of the album then give it to us on a bonus disc. I just think it would be sweet. Although with Batson at the helm...

I hate those new studio album clips from the stand up site.... i remember when they were first posted, it all sounded so great cause the band was excited and dave was like "we got so much done and we didn't really spend a lot of time on any of the tunes...." and they're all like, batson'll just make a song out of one random line you play.

Ugh......

All of the warning signs were present in each clip, I just think all of us were too excited for some new material that we chose not to hear it. I mean Dave came right out and said they barely worked hard at all and that Carter played in a really "spare" way on this album.

Yeah.... it just sucks. DMB was like my favorite band of all time leading up to stand up, because the majority of material was great and there was the anticipation of the new album coming out... but now that Stand Up sucked, it's kind of worn me out a little with DMB.... i'm partially grateful, cause i've gotten into lots of other stuff too, but I miss when I used to be the biggest dave head I knew.

And is it just me, or is this summer tour not selling out very fast?

So, I've got a question. I got tickets to the Nashville show this summer through The Warehouse. How long do they take to let you know what seats you got? As of now, I only know that I've got "best available." And, how is the seating for first time members/requesters?
