does anybody notice distortion when played through iTunes? When I play through winamp it's fine but iTunes gives me distortion.

check your equalizer settings??
i burned the songs to a cd and they sounded fine in my car today

Wow, the download speed seemed to pick up, thanks man!

-edit- sweet jesus, much better then the ones last night. The highs from the drums really ruined it for me on the others. Sounds pretty good, I'm going to mess around with these in peak sometime and see if I can do as good a job (which i doubt), because if the originals are the old ones I have these are really a step up. Good job to whoever mastered these, I'm envious of ur skillz!

Aah, thanks for the tip...I was wondering why people thought this was so good, cause it came out all distorted to me...gonna give it another go in WMP..

If you get distortion, try turning off equalizing, or, more importantly, the sound enchancer option in playback settings. Both of these features distort your music.

These really do sound amazing. I have the original shn's and these blow them away. The volume is now right up there with an actual CD so I can finally blast SUAD without it feeling hollow.

Edit: Here is the artwork I use in itunes for the LWS, its a nice high quality pic

The remasters sound downright amazing compared to the original .shn's! Looks like I've got something to listen to all day today :)
