I don't really like Digging A Ditch or most of Everyday. I love just about everything else, though.

I was thinking about it, even dave songs I don't like much I can go through phases of really digging, but mother father...nope...I just hate that song more than anything else. I don't think I'll ever be able to stomach that song in any way, shape or form...

heh i like 3 of those (not mother father or let you down)

P.S. BTW, are we including Everyday in the shitty songs?

EDIT: I did not mean I hated mother father or let you down, I'm just not really fond of them

kandyman... I think too much is great... well D & T's version from their '99 tour. Try and get a copy of it. Hate Mother Father
Its cold as hell outside
But our fire is bright
And in your eyes
I can see what is on my mind
You got me wild
Turned around inside

I simply can't believe that no one has mentioned Sleep To Dream Her. That is the poorest song I've ever heard. No mention of Spotlight? Even Dave himself hates the hell out of that song. Have to agree that Billies is just a damn fine song that never gets old. Two Step...little sick of seeing it live, but that's only because I'd prefer to see something else. Let You Down...have to agree, pretty boring. Help Myself was also pretty poor. Blue Water gets on my nerves a bit, but I'd love to see it live just to say that I did.

ha! I think i posted on that one a long while ago (sorry, I'm catching up...my cpu has been down __and still is__for the past month or so...)

anywho...i hate that song!!! the intro vocals in particular

hey winston!
2 questions for ya':

1. How ya' been?
2. How did you get back on???
(glad to see you have toned down a bit)

As for other Dave tunes that are weak...

proudest monkey is kinda' cool b/c its kindy a slap in the face of critics...if its in the backround, it isn't that bad - - - you can't just sit down and stare at your stereo when its on...
deed is done...mother father...everyday...
i think those are the only ones...

well i wont be posting til i get my comp back up so tty all later!

spotlight is by far the worst song he has ever written. not even close. everything on everyday is like a dylan masterpiece compared to spotlight.

What's wrong with Spotlight? I mean I think it's pretty good! I also really like Let You Down, and firedancer, how can you not like Deed is Done?

I dunno, just some disagreements I've had reading this thread.

At least we can all agree Mother Father is a bad song. I mean it's Avril Lavigne bad....

I think all of everyday sucks, it is the one album I wish I hadn't bought.....Dave should stay away from glen ballard he ruined that album....and I think the most underrated song is Heathcliff's Haiku Warriors, that song RULES!!!
