notice how dave opens up two step by saying "this is the last show of our tour so we're going to try to make this an eventfull evening..." was this just a joke? cuz i thought the last night was 3.25 (3.24 being storytellers)

yeah, i think he was a little fucked up. there was a week and a half break from headwaters til storytellers so i think he was just a little confused. either that or since storytellers (and possibly the one on 3.25) weren't standard concerts, he considered it to be the last real show. who knows with dave though.

Anyone know how to save these as an MP3 (only to delete immediately after listening to it of course!)

why would you want to save them if mp3's if you were just going to delete them? just listen to them off the website. the only way to save them as mp3's is to download each file off of the website and that puts a big strain on their server so it's better to not do it.

You know, its hard to say if that's the best D&T show. That Bob Weir(not to diss on the Gratefull Dead) All Along the Watchtower did suck ass. And, the crowd was pretty fucking rude on that show, hence proudest monkey where he totally stops the song to tell that guy to shut the fuck up. I mean he did deserve it but Dave was pretty fucked up on that show. Not to mention Dave's attempt to tell that ants story with the amazon and shit, he was totally cranked out. JTR was awesome, along with Diggin' a Ditch and Jimi Thing and W.W.B.O. M. totally did kick ass. I wish there were more D&T shows, I still think that either LALC or the Feb.17th 1997 "Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Acoustic Duo" were the best.
