I had the opportunity to see him once this summer and he blew me away. i like the slow songs..crash, as well as the jams wwys. his new stuff is hot too. dreamgirl is a beautiful tune, even live.
I think the band does a great job mixing the songs up. they have so much variety and a huge archive of material.

You know, if DMB had a concert where they played off-the-wall shit like Raven that 85% (being generous) of the crowd a) couldn't recognize, and b) doesn't give a shit about there would be all sorts of angry mf'ers.
And please spare me the "true/real fans would appreciate that" stuff too

Why would then be angry when at the end of the song they realize that "Wow, you know what. This song is way better than the shit off Stand Up."charliemike wrote:You know, if DMB had a concert where they played off-the-wall shit like Raven that 85% (being generous) of the crowd a) couldn't recognize, and b) doesn't give a shit about there would be all sorts of angry mf'ers.

yeah man those are pretty similar to my seats. i was on boyds side in section 104, row L. hopefully you still managed to have a good time regardless of the WAYG. i know i didlittlefriend420 wrote:Sec. 123, Row C. Great seats! Less than half the length of the floor from the stage, three rows back on LeRoi's side. The 1st two rows were short rows, also, so we had a perfectly clear view of the stage for the entire show. I only looked at the jumbotrons to see Dave's hands when he was playing.markusDMB33 wrote:god damnit dude, i can totally relate. EVERYTIME, EVERY SHOW im at there is a WAYG. it definetly gets a little frustrating. overall though, a great night and some real gems on that setlist.littlefriend420 wrote:So I got ANOTHER WAYG last night. Seriously, I understand that they have songs that they have and like to play, but I've heard this at almost every show I've been to. I've heard Everyday a lot, too, but I really like it and don't mind it. Same with Grey Street. But I swear to god if I hear WAYG one more damn time I'm going to flip out and kill peopl. OK, probably not, but I will definitely sit down in my seat.
where were you sittin by the way?
