Dave/DMB Ringtone Ideas?

Unread post by TheGuyThatJaneLikes » Sun Dec 04, 2005 4:27 am

I'm uploading a few songs from my PC for ringtones and I'm looking for ideas.

What song (specify which verse, riff etc.) should I use?

OLD DIRT HILL! ROR ...

Seriously though, I think OSW or Trippin Billies would be sweert.

I need to get a phone I can do that on ... I'd spend a whole day playing with that feature :)

I converted mp3's for WWYS, Jimi Thing, and Grey Street. They are on my phone right now. I think the site with the how to was 3gupload.com. At the time I converted these it only worked for sprint phones, but I would think that that has changed by now. The only thing is that they don't have the bes sound quality. Kinda sound like your listening to a radio through a phone, but good enough for me, and I get to pick which part of the song I want.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I'll have to think on them.

My phone won't take mp3 files. It was made in early 04 and I don;t mp3 support became standard on most phones until late 04. So I have to change the files from WAV to QCP. They're distorted on the high end, but hey, it's a cell phone and it sounds good enough.

I'm using Not For You - Pearl Jam right now. "This is NOT FOOOOR YOOOOOUUUU. LOL, it's relevant.
