Good. The thought of boyd writing the bulk of a dmb album gives me the willies.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

he should write a cook book- and stay away from songs.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

i would buy both. but never again a solo record.

so no one found any concrete links or interviews where dave says " this is my writing process"?

I believe he talks about his writing process at length in the Making of BTCS video.

Thats the way he used to do it.
He still does it that way sometimes. Examples: Sugar Will, Hello Again, Joyride, Crazy Easy.
