I was really happy to see it live at the gorge 2003. The only thing that saddens me was that that gorge show was the last time it was every played in full since.gravesRR7 wrote:i think DT is so awesome live. the CP bonus cd version....with the whailing at the end. it's greatDavy28 wrote:I was just about to say that. The arraingement is amazing, and the placement of the Greg Howard's stick is almost perfect. Roi's pennywhistle always gives me chills, and Dave's voice has that haunting/sexual quality to it.jsgksu wrote:the stone is my favorite DMB song, and sounds amazing on BTCS, but Im amazed no ones mentioned Dreaming Tree yet.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Where Are You Going is the best studio song, because I can skip it and listen to You Never Know at my own freewill. At a concert, I have to endure 4 minutes of shit before I here another good song.

thats why i think "sleep to dream her" has the potential to be a decent song if they actually worked for more than 12 days on all those songs, i really love the sax riff.jalapena wrote:compared to their live counterparts, I'd definitely have to Satellite with the way the strings were arranged at the beginning.
Also, Sleep to Dream Her, though not the best album song, I love 'Roi's sax in there

Jeez, it seems like any Dave song considered by radio stations worthy of airtime is a song you guys automatically dislike. WAYG is one of my favorites to play, and of the Dave songs everybody knows it is the one I will most willingly play. It also holds the place of honor as the one song that has been played at all three Dave shows I have been to.wkpggrvn2001 wrote:DMBassist52 wrote:Where Are You Going is the best studio song, because I can skip it and listen to You Never Know at my own freewill. as far as radio play, WWYS got plenty of spins, as well as Crush and Ants Marching and I dig all of 3 of those tunes.
