You went HOW FAR?

Unread post by jellyfish » Tue Aug 16, 2005 2:13 pm

to see DMB. Saw this at Ants.

My farthest was:

to Montreal from PA (1998) DMB
to PA from VA (2003) Dave & Friends
to CA from VA (2005) DMB

The San Francisco show wasn't intential, my girl surprised me with the tix when I got there. Actually, I didn't know I was going until 10 minutes prior to going to the venue. 19th row too. I think I'll be marrying this one!

Kill me if there is a thread on this already.

I think this should be updated to count driving only. Flying is cheating. :)

California's Central Coast -> Washington for the Gorge in '02.

1003.98 miles, one way.

Denver to Virginia. Wasnt intentional either. Had a hockey tournament and saw that they were in town and bought two tickets off a scalper.

I drove a total of 8 hours, flew a total of 10.5. 18 hours in three days is lots of traveling. I will be driving out there in December though. 43 fucking hours. Yay!! Probably spend New Years in Tahoe or Aspen.

I was there for the August 27th 2000 show. It was a good time to be doing what I am doing now since I was in the area working anyway
