Summer of 95, I was 11 and bought UTTAD. Right after BOWA ended I was hooked and I've been hooked for the past 10 years. Another fond memory was when I was 12 and I went to my first concert at SPAC. It was incredible, I might have been the youngest kid there. I remember it was raining and I had lawn seats and they put on such a kickass show:

My first memory was when I bought Busted Stuff when it came out. I was 14 and amazed by the musical talent this band had. My family was never really into music so I was somewhat sheltered from truly great bands. Busted Stuff was my greatway drug into appriciating music.

first time I heard it I was probably like... 10-12 years old... I think, I dont know. And I saw Crash on MTV. At that age I didn't really get the music video and what the hell was going on, and I thought the band was kind of weird. So at first I didn't even like them. Then a few years later my brother bought UTTAD randomly and that's when I heard Ants and Warehouse and I guess the rest is history.

edit: I might have been a little older when i saw it on MTV cuz now that i think of it i didn't start watching mtv till I was like 13

I heard WWYS on the radio when it came out...that's my first DMB experience. I didn't bother to go pick up a CD though, until a year or so after that. Now, I listen to them a bit much :)

I had heard of DMB but wasn't really that into it. Then one day I randomly decided to buy The Central Park Concert DVD, I had it on kinda in the backround, and SMTS came on. I was blown away, I don;t what it was but, I listened to SMTS about 15 times and have been hooked ever since.

Well, of course I hear WWYS and Ants Marching on the radio, but thought nothing of them, then Crash Into Me came out and I thought the song was good, but I still didn't care for who it was, same with The Space Between and Everyday.
But about two years at work a friend and I were talking about music and who we liked and he say that I should listen to them and he recommened me to buy Crash and see if I liked it. I have heard SMTS, Too Much, Crash into me so I skipped those songs and went to #41 and after listening to that song I was hooked. That was about two years ago when I was 22. He also told me (since I was about to transfer to an university) that I would hear nothing but DMB cause lots of college kids listen to them. When I joined a fraternity, of course DMB was played a lot. So #41 was the song that did it for me, along with Say Goodbye. After those two songs, I think my next one was Lie in our Graves.

I also took a friend to see Dave and Tim two years ago at Davidson College and she fell in love with Dave too.

First time I heard DMB was in 94 when WWYS got released. It was like a guitly pleasure of mine, but I didnt listen to them too much, just owned UTTAD but enver listenerd to it. think i got it for free from someone.
Then I remember hearing Crash and it was kind of boring to me, thought the song sounded beautiful, but boring. Still wasnt a big fan.

Then in 99 or whenever storytellers aired I was in my room and flipping through channels and I remember hearing him play crush and I nearly shit. I was sold instantly, Went the next day and bought L@LC and Crash.
listened to them over and over, became a huge fan of ants and two step right away. Never looked back.

I think this was my first setlist:

Encore:
For the Beauty of Wynona ^ G1
Grace Is Gone (Tease) G1

my first was the space between, my brother was flipping threw channels, and at that point he was looking for some good drumemrs to look at he stopped on VH1 and said" matt check out this guy hes an amazing drummer" and he told me stuff like this is a really great band. later after i got into that song and everyday, my brother played lillywhite sessions to me and after hearing big eyed fish i loved there music so much.
