Doesn't Some Devil seem like a waste of good songs?
Forgive me if this is in the wrong place.
I know he toured for the album but it's weird that he put all that effort into them and then never plays them anymore.
I know he played a couple of them with DMB before but I haven't heard of anything recently.
They are good songs, I'm just wondering if there's some sort of "rule" that it's not cool to play them because they were his solo works.
Just curious what everyone thinks.

Definitely the wrong forum
I am sure brock will have this moved soon enough.
As far as your question goes, I can see were you are coming from. I think SD songs are better solo or accoustically with D&T. Hopefully, we get a D&F or D&T tour to hear some of these songs.
As much as I would hate for the band to break up, it wouldn't bother me that much because Dave has many years left in him.

Eh, I think it doesnt sound too bad, but you also have to remember, they only played that fullband like twice or three times, but it deff is D+Fs song. As for the other comment, I totally agree, if DMB was to break up anytime soon(I deff hope not), it wouldnt bother me becuase all members of the band especially Dave, Carter, and Stefan, would go toher places and have a handful of awesome oppurtunities I think. But yea, I want another D+Fs tour, hopefully it wasnt a one time thing!checkii wrote:I have his whole farm aid performance on video shared on slsk.
he plays all some devil stuff and then #41. they definately arent DMB songs. I think gravedigger sounds like ass with the whole band.

I'm glad Dave did SD as I am Boyd did TR, even though the latter disc was unremarkable.
Bands, like any group of friends or family go through ups and downs over the years.
I'd rather the guys do a solo work to let out their personal shit thus keeping the band in harmony.
I think that for the most part SD tunes are for Dave and Dave only to play (of course with Timmy if applicable). It's probably just a respect thing. Whether there was some formal agreement, I don't know.

Re: warehouse
It's not that you necessarily get "better" seats but that you have a better chance at getting better seats. However, via the Warehouse you can't just go and look at a seating chart and pick out your seats. It's a lottery based upon senority (as I understand it) ... So if it's a hot show that's definitely going to sell out and you don't want to be on the law (for example) then go via Warehouse. Otherwise, Ticketraper is probably the best bet.matt21093 wrote:fine if ur not gonna answer me then can u tell me the right forum for this topicmatt21093 wrote:

Off topic, but the WH is a joke and a waste of $$$. Trust me. It's good for very young fans who take a lot of pride in a waaay cool DMB "membership card" and a folded poster and some crappy lithos or the older fan that doesn't have time nor wants to wait in line for seats.
The thing with WH is that you are NOT guaranteed seats and I was a member for a few years and NEVER was offered a chance for a meet and greet.
