lie in our graves
Wondering if we had
spent our living days well

Away away
You have been banished
Your land is gone
And given me

And all the little ants are marching
Red and black antennas waving
They all do it the same
They all do it the same way
I just dont see how these lyrics are inspiring.
well.....they are inspiring to me

dale milligan(not trying to bash you, just makin example) said a few lines from billies that i dont find particularly inspiring...but i didnt call him on it...

anyway, i like them...they give me shivers...so i posted...this is an opinion thread correct?
and you diod a brilliant job explaining how they are inspiring

so if I shit in a bag and called it inspiring no one would ask me why?
I honstly dont think you know the definition of inspiring.
sorry, i didnt know you asked how they inspired me...if you want to know...

the first one is fairly obvious to me, warning to live life to its fullest every day, lest you look back on it with regret for the "ifs" and "coulddas"

the second one is inspiring to me to be..i dont want to say equal or fair...but something to that extent to everyone...like, to give everyone their own opinions, rights, etc. and not judge people before getting to know them, that kind of thing. this is drawn from the songs meaning about how the europeans essentially came in a took the land from the indians, arguing superiority and soverignty(sp?) over the land: without getting to know them, they declared them savages and had them killed

the third to me is a warning of the results of peoples lives, and how so often everyone is essentially doing the same, monotonous things with their lives and how so many lives end up being the same. to me, this serves as a warning to do what you want to do because you want to do and not conform just to conform. (this is not to be confused with rebelling just to be a non-conformist, because i believe if youre gonna rebel, you better have a reason)

hopefully that explained to you why i felt those lyrics were inspiring...if you didnt care...i did it anyway...sooo...yeah

The space between the tears we cry, is the laughter that keeps us coming back for more.

Maybe I'm a little crazy, but laughing out loud makes the pain go away - spoon

This inspires me because Dave can laugh away his sadness go away, I wish I could, I try. It inspires me
