Unread post by mlb1399 » Fri Jun 03, 2005 11:48 am

Well, I am putting together a cd for a friend and my girlfriend. I am doing only Dave solo or Dave & Tim. Looking for some opinions on some really good versions of some of these songs. I have some in mind but am looking for more feedback. Thanks for the help.

Fool to Think
The Stone
Ants Marching
Lie in Our Graves(3-29-03)
Tripping Billies

What Will Become of Me or PnP(3-14-99 or 2-19-99)
Say Goodbye
Best of What’s Around
Two Step
#41
Big Eyed Fish
Granny
Pig
The Song that Jane Likes
DIDO
JTR(3-14-99 with Carlos)
Minarets
Recently
Too Much(3-14-99)

Do you mind if i ask why you are just doing Dave, Dave & Tim?

Because I want accoustic only. I generally prefer Dave & Tim more than DMB for about 90% of the songs.

You're right. It was Yoshi's that I have Pig on, which is basically an accoustic version.

Actually, Dave played about a minute of Pig solo at Farm Aid 2001 before he backed away from the mic and switched to Satellite. I suppose you could call it an extended tease, but it was Pig nonetheless.

Take Halloween, Ants, Say Goodbye, Billies, Minarets, and OSW from L@LC

or you could take OSW from farm aid (Dave solo)

Fool to Think from Benoyara Hall (solo)

The Stone, LIOG, BOWA, STJL, and Recently from Lost Acoustics (I have it lossless, PM me if you need it)

I have lossless copies of BEF and Bartender from 3-31-03 if you need them (PM me)

I also have good D&T versions of Everyday, the Maker, Blue Water, and Beauty of Wynona from that same show if you want them.
