I agree, Stolen Away is the best example of this, I keep expecting it to go to some beautiful chorus or bridge but it just drags on for 4 minutes of the same melody.
That is the only song that could have had potential. But, no.
I know it, the original 50 sec clip had me so excited, but I might as well have just looped it for 4 minutes and I would have had the full song.

Not only did they waste the Firedancer, they named the album after the shittiest song on it.

I have mixed feelings. Funny that they played all the best songs before they released the album (Joyride, Crazy-Easy, etc.) and then cut most of 'em from the album, if they even recorded half of them.
Stay with me, safe and ignorant.

I liked it quite a bit, but Hello Again was definitely my favorite new song from last year's tour. I felt as if they would have had an awesome album if they would of used the new songs from last year and used songs similar to what they writing at that time.

Whooo i just got the album - eventually. Wouldnt you think they would send it earlier for International shipping?

anyway. Firstly id like to say, i think this CD has been bashed to much. Its a good album. I can name many albums where you may only get 4 or 5 good songs on it, i could easily listen to this album without flicking a song - Maybe Stand Up?

IMO its trounces everyday - no question. But it should.
Is it better than BS? Im not too sure yet - possibly. Infact yeah i think it is, i could easily flick 3-4 maybe 5 songs on BS.

But hey, lifes Great! :D

You just now got it? Man, that sucks. Glad you like it though. When I listened to it at first, I'd always skip Stand Up, Stolen Away and Smooth Rider, but those tracks have grown on me.

I personally loved "Good, Good Times" when he played it last tour.

It was a new song, and everyone here was saying it was one of the 4 new songs he was might put on his album. I was hoping he would put it on there.

I have not had a chance to really sit down and listen to this new album yet, but my friend has it and we have listened to a couple of songs and they do sound good so far. American Baby is my favorite out of the few I had listened too.

Well, I've waited... and waited... and waited... to decide what I think about this album (not that the world was eagerly awaiting my opinion, but anyway)

I've had this thing going in my car, my apartment, on my computer basically since it came out hoping it would grow on me just like Everyday eventually did, or even BTCS at first.

It kills me being such a huge fan, but man this album sucks. Of all the albums they've put out in the last 15 years, I've loved pretty much everything. It's sad. American baby and Dreamgirl are the only two I can listen to (and Hello Again, but only because I've heard better versions).

Sounds like he's having a seizure on Louisiana Bayou.

Pretty disappointing. Maybe this one takes a few months to grow on you. I just don't think I have the patience.

of course people are going to have their opinions. They can think whatever the fuck they want, even though I like it, you can't knock somebody for having an opinion.
