Warehouse is a excellent song... Not only are the lyrics genious, the rythym is amazingly hypnotic (yet so simple). Im not going to argue what version is the best cause thats rediculous. Every version of Warehouse from his solo show in 93' (record store -UTTAD promotion) till tommorow nights show is great in its own way.

perfection.
That whole last "verse," or whatever it is, is amazing. In its entirety:

That's my blood down there
Seen poured from the hands of angels
And trickled into the ground
Leaves the Warehouse so bare and empty

Oh, then my heart's numbered beat
Will echo in this empty room
And the fear wells in me
And nothing seems big enough to stay

So I'm going away
I'm going away...

Arguably my favorite dmb lyrics.
Mine as well...

As they are mine. Check out 3.13.99. One of my favorites.

It was unreal hearing those words at the Gorge this year. Pure bliss..

Wasn't that a promotion for R2T? I remember seeing the posters everywhere..

Oh and I LOVE the UTTAD version......I love the intro lyrics...the....'Soooooooooo evil....this warehouse frightens me......has me tied in knots.......'
DAMN!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!

As a sorta additional note. That last verse that everyone seems to really like isn't in the lyrics page for the song on this site, nor on the official DMB site. So uh.. where's a nice copy of the lyrics?

heh I was listening to my favorite show from 93' and the version of the Warehouse has the segment where Dave just keeps singing "Mama's little baby loves short bread short bread." I thought it was really funny. Only problem with the song was that towards the end he just kept singing "That's my blood down there." over and over. I really like the outro these days. Very goosebump inducing.

I've come to like the sax solo on the LS version. It makes the whole version worth listening to.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Amen to that. I talk about that show all the time. My friends get really sick of it, but oh man so many high points of that show, including some ridiculous Dave speak. :-D

They are in the UTTAD cd booklet

Warehouse is an amazing song. Dave has the uncanny ability mix various moods in songs, and make them flow sooooo well. He goes from sad to happy to disturbed and afraid in a heartbeat. So many emotions in one song...who could ask for more.
