Jellyfish...just so you know, I am 30 years old. I have two jobs. So I know how precious your free time is. What bugged me about your reply to Ranting was that it was barely 24 hours later (unless I am misinterpreting the post times), and your whining about not getting a thank you! Was it so important to get that thank you, that you couldn't wait for more than 24 hours before dropping the hammer? Also, I never knew that there was a Golden Rule B, that states "if you dont get a Thank You, you have the right to bitch and moan". One more thing...I bet you will see me around here.

Get a life? I'm not the one with over 4000 posts in a little over a year's time. That's at least 11 posts a day!! This is my last post on this topic, though. My only point was that true charity never requires a thank you. If someone wants to argue against that statement, then feel free, but you will still be wrong. I do agree that it is common curtesy, but it is not a requirement!! And for someone to overreact the way Jellyfish did, well, I just find it wrong. If you dont agree with me, then we will just have to agree to disagree. I do apologize if the Ronald McDonald house crack offended anyone, and Jellyfish is right, it didnt fit at all into the context of the issue.

my point was who cares, you have done nothing but point this thread in a direction other than what this thread was intended for over some stupid ass argument about when you should expect a thank you or how rude asking for a thank you is.


on a side note: 11 posts a day isnt very much, seeing as you have wasted about that many on the soical norms and the ethics of expecting a thank you. i applaud you in your efforts, in fact i would like to thank you for wasting 2 to 3 minutes of my life, now go back into hiding.
