For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again
Haha you guys are too funny. Thanks for the offers to hide me in your basement. Seriously though, I appreciate your concerns for me being here. I try to tell people though, it's not the end of the world. No I wouldn't choose to be here but after getting a first hand view, I really do think we are helping this country. It's sad to see the state most people are living in, especially after seeing the palaces that Sadham had for himself.
So check this out...believe it or not, I'm in an Army band and we started among other things, a rock band over here. We're trying to learn a little bit of everything so that we can please everyone. We put on a few shows, at chow halls and MWR centers (morale, welfare and recreation) and people are really enjoying it. RIght before one of the shows I started playing that jam at the end of What Would You Say just messing around, and my band loved it. So we used it at the beginning of our shows to introduce the band. It was so cool to play DMB in Iraq! So I want to teach them some other songs. I thought I would start with Grey Street and/or Ants Marching, they both jam and I think are easy to learn quickly. We even have a kick ass sax player who can cover all the parts. Too bad we don't have a violin though!
So I just thought you all would get a kick out of that. I'm always excited to spread DMB's music to more people, even way the hell over here. I preordered the new album and will just have to wait a little bit longer to hear all of it! I appreciate your offers for help, if I can think of anything we need over here I will let you all know. But good thoughts and prayers are always welcome! Later guys.

Dude, really though, a heartfelt thanks for being over there. No matter what any of us thinks about the political justification or unjustification of the war, I think I speak for us all when I say that we support all of you brave soldiers and wish for your safe and speedy return.
God Bless!
