Two Step Intro Lyrics Help!

Unread post by 2scoops » Wed Dec 04, 2002 11:54 pm

Hello Everyone-

First I'd like to say great site. I've found I've been spending many an hour here in the last few weeks!

Moving on...I just finally got the strumming patterns for Two Step and can play the song all the way through (great song). However, I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what Dave was singing during the Newer Intro. It seems to differ between Listener Support and Live at Folsum... I figured I'd ask here first with the great deal of knowledgeable DMB fans before I went stumbling around the net... Thanks!

He changes up the lyrics every single time. If you listen to Giants Stadium when it was pouring...He sings about how the clouds were opening up to start pouring. It's pretty cool, anyway, think of something on your mind and just sing w/ all your heart......enjoy, peace

Man...those quotes are so awesome...Dave just keeps affirming over and over that he is a lyrical and philosophical inspiration
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

I just realized something....I was trying to be serious with that last reply, but it doesnt work very well with Jack Black's ugly mug on the left screaming "Comenayeeaahhaaaa!!!"

i don't know about dave being a great lyricist or philosopher, billy. sure he's got some great lines, but he's also got a bunch of junk to. don't get me wrong, i think some of his lyrics are absolutely stunning, but it seems that for every great line he has, there's also an awkward and difficult one.
