dave has such a good focus on life. you never here a dave song that doesn't teach you something about life or doesn't just make you sit back and be like...damn i wish i could just naturally think that way. i am a person who was raised in a religious environment so i really like the songs where dave talks about god and stuff of that nature. seek up is a song with a lot of good points and always gets me thinking evertime i listen to it.
"You seek up an emotion and your cup is over-flowing. You seek up an emotion, maybe your well is dry. You seek up a big monster for him to fight your wars for you, but when he finds his way to you the devils not going, ha ha, ha ha."

uhh, by the way, "eat, drink and be merry" is found in the Bible...a warning that those who do not turn to God (ie DAVE), you might just as well enjoy your sins now while you can before Jesus comes to take those who have turned to Him.
Just food for thought, yeah, I'm a Christian (please, no bashing, I don't force it on anyone who is not asking)---I just put this up because it was posted above that these were the prophetic utterances of ALF (lol)-no offense-well anyway, Dave flaunts his beliefs and this song is a prime example...
Don't go thinking too much now...keep it light guys
PEACE, FIREDANCER86

true, its a fine line i guess. But I would think that dave doesnt write about things that he doesnt believe or want to invest interest in....at least to some degree
so if it looks like a duck, writes about ducks, and sings about ducks, its probably dave!
