It's an amazing country with some of the greatest history and some of the coolest shit you will ever see.
but I think the culture is soooo much different than most of Europe. I prefered the people in Germany and scandanavia so much more. I noticed a lot of Italians seem soooo angry when they speak. I kept feeling like everyone hated me. But then I learned that it's just the way they talk, very intense.
Thats cuz you're not Italian

That's interesting, when I was in Europe, I liked the Italians the most, followed very closely by the French. Granted, our situations were different and I wasn't there for two and a half months.

I've never been to Italy so I can't say, that was more of a joke. But most italians I know (family) aren't very fond of "outsiders." Anyway, I want to go to Italy more than any other place in the world. And if I do make it there I wonder how I will get treated considering I'm 50% Italian but don't look italian at all, which I'm sure you've noticed.

I'll let you in on a little secret, you're not itallian, i'm not irish, and Brock's not gay. If you go to Erope, you are an american.
if yuo say, i'm part this or part that, you'll get laughed out of the pub.

and yes, 2.5 months wasn't long enough, but money was falling short.

I too found for the ferench to be very nice. I think that's how you can gauge if you are a stereotypical american jack-ass or not.
If the french are nice to you, you are probably a cool guy, but if they are mean to you, you neeed to go home and re-evaluate how you talk to and treat others.
