Man, I just can't seem to get enough of this song lately. It is really growing on me. Am I alone on this one?

I don't really like the busted stuff jtr. I like the older John the revelator just d+t. I do love everything about that version though, the rhythm and tims solo, all good.

I've loved this song since the day I heard it. It's beautiful - the LWS version, that is. But any version of JTR is a great version, if you ask me.

I like the instruments in JTR more, but I like the lyrics of John the Revelator more.

See if you can find the old John the revelator with Carlos Santana in California. It is great.

Its crazy, john the revelator was one of the many songs I heard for the first time back when DMBcentral was around. too bad their bandwidth crapped out.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
