The lawn was muddy. Houston's gotten tons of rain obviously, and the more people walked on the grass, the muddier it got. The people who wouldn't take their shoes off were slipping and sliding all over the place.

One girl ate it about 5 times just going halfway down the hill because she wouldn't take off her 2-inch soled sandals. She was also wearing a short skirt and no underwear. A real genius.

The setlist was pretty normal, maybe even a bit lackluster. But for my first live concert in 3 years, I'll take it.
Setlist
Everyday
The Stone
Rhyme & Reason
Song That Jane Likes
#41
Too Much
If I Had It All
Grey Street
Kit Kat Jam (with lyrics)
Cry Freedom
Crush
Stay
Where Are You Going
So Much To Say
Anyone Seen the Bridge? -->
Pantala Naga Pampa -->
Rapunzel

Encore
Digging a Ditch
Two Step
Everyday was somewhat of a surprise opener; no one around us was expecting anyway. But it was a normal solid rendition, and it got the crowd singing along.

STJL was a nice surprise; hadn't listened to that one in a while, either.

The jam they are doing with #41 is really cool; it has some stop time in it, which elicits Warehouse "Woos" from the audience; Stefan especially seemed to be loving the jam, and Carter was throwing down some really sweet syncopated fills.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed If I Had It All; Dave put a lot of energy into the vocals, and it came across well.

I could not understand most of the KKJ lyrics; he did throw in the plastic asshole line towards the end.

Cry Freedom was a great surprise; the song still grows on me, as I found it incredibly boring when Crash first come out; enjoyed it last night.

Crush: enough said. Started with a little Stefan solo and then the opening bass riff. Very nice.

SMS -> ASTB -> PNP -> Rapunzel was really cool to hear. Rapunzel had energy, but it was just the standard jam.

Digging a Ditch was pretty normal and low energy, but they made up for it with a really fun Two Step, complete with a nice Butch solo and lots of feature work by Carter. Great way to end the show.

You should be okay, I think. SA hasn't gotten near the rain that Houston did.

Consider taking a poncho or tarp to sit on (even if you put a towel on top of it). It helps a ton.

And wear old crappy sandals (instead of newer ones :cry: ).

If you've got floor seats, you're gonna have concrete under your little piggies, so you'll be alright.

Enjoy it. :)
