I saw the subject line and new imediately what show you were talking about. This was my first cross-country trip to see DMB. It was also the first time I saw DMB from the front row. His pick came flying out of his hand. No one in the crowd really knew what happened at first. My friend and I were shocked that he was even playing #40. It was a very memorable moment.

i thought he said that because someone threw a t-shirt on-stage and it landed covering up the mic.
..i dunno...that's the story i read when i got the song. i think it kinda sounds like he gets hit with something though. i dunno...
