1) A good way to relax is to listen to the intro jam from listener supported. It is really peaceful, with butch lightly playing piano in the background and dave tabbing along. The only problem is LeRoi's sax takes a while to get in tune with the rest of the band. Other than that I like it.
2) Let You Down, aside from being one of dave's sexiest songs, is like taking a natual downer. I love it. The whistling is a tad corny, but relaxing.
3) WWBOM is both realxing to listen to and relaxing to play.
4) Typical situation, especially the L@LC version with its lovely, flowing rhythm.

anyways it went....."well lets roll another joint...and u dont know how it feels" and so on. so does anyone remember the name for that song it would be a big help. thanks.

If you want some real relaxing shit try these incubus songs

just a phase, mexico, are you in,aqueous transmission(off morning view sessions) drive unplugged, and echo... incubus kicks ass

Chili Peppers have some- Tearjerker, My friends, ROAD TRIPPIN

I always thought Ben Harper was relaxing, waiting on an angel, forever, walk away are some good ones.

Hope that helps

PIG... That is right on...I just realized how great of a song pig is. It is definately one of my favorite dave songs.

WHEN IM DOWN AND OUT, I WILL ALWAYS LISTEN TO #41, ANY VERSION IS FINE AS LONG AS IT IS #41. ANOTHER GREAT SONG IS LET YOU DOWN. I KNOW THAT MAY SEEM WIERD BUT IF YOU BLOCK OUT THE LYRICS AND LISTEN TO THE INTRUMENTS AND WHISTLING, YOU WILL DEFINITLY FEEL BETTER.OTHER SONGS:

TYPICAL SITUATION, L@LC
PROUDEST MONKEY, STUDIO ALBUM
ENDING TO THE STONE ON LISTENER
CRUSH
BEST OF WHATS AROUND
JIMI THING
TWO STEP
LIE IN OUR GRAVE
EVERYDAY
WHEN THE WORLD ENDS, MATRIX RELODED
BUSTED STUFF
ANGEL

I think Proudest Monkey is the most relaxing. I absolutely love the instrumentals in this song, especially on the album version (well, I haven't heard any live versions, except for what's on I think Red Rocks). People around these boards tend to poke fun at it because it is so easy, but I always make sure not to skip over it when I'm listening to Crash.
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...
