after the show my friends and i went to the merchandise table, i bought his "nomadic wavelength" album, and we waited around cuz i had heard he comes out after shows. after about 45 minutes, he came out, and he started signing posters, cd's etc. i came up to him, asked him to sign my cd, and while he did, i asked him what it was like to walk out onto the stage at bonnaroo, with 100,000 people watching (i was about 20 feet from the stage for d+f that weekend, and during the acoustic nancies it looked like he was nervrous). he said that many people realize the size of the crowd, but he only "sees" a certain amount of the crowd, and doesnt actually think about how many people are actually there. he said he played with his eyes closed for the most part anyways. i said thanks for the pics and autograph, and he was on his way shortly thereafter. one thing is for sure though, and that is tim is one weird guy hahaha. things he'd say on stage, etc. he is very down-to-earth though, and it was cool to be able to talk to him for a bit after the show. i never once brought up dave, cuz i'm sure he gets a lot of that.
here's some pics:

me with tim (yes i'm wearing yankee stuff in boston...i just had to! heh heh)

my friends and i with tim
the girl who was selling the albums is friends with tim, and has gone on many of his tours. she's also met dave plenty, had dinner with trey in a restaurant, among other things. she said she recognized trey's skills on the guitar, but other than that she said he was a very weird guy.
it was definitely a cool night overall
