nancies is garbage. I like this one better cause of ndmb and as much as we give newbies crap, i don' think it's mean spirited. There are just some jags on nancies.

Haha, yea i remember more back in the day when 1000 posts was this huge deal. i remember for a stretch of time there we like 4 people who got 1000 in like the same couple weeks. then isaac busted like 80000000 by that time. haha.

but yea, this is the best BECAUSE its not as active. its active enough to get you theinformation you want and quick responses, but not so much that your thread or posts will get buried so fast that you don't have the will to look for it.

Yep. DMBTabs is the best.

I also enjoy Nancies. Ants gets on my nerves... got, I hate the design too.

something cool wrote:I noticed this board was "nicer" and more "informative" than other sites when I first came here, but I do feel like a few of the members, with a million posts, feel like they own the board and tell people what is ok and not okay. ie: everytime someone puts up an old topic in a new thread, some, definitely not all, get pissed off like "how dare you" or something. Personally, I don't mind reading a fresh thread on an old topic. If it's a topic I've seen before, I don't read it or post on it. Note: It is very helpful sometimes, if someone does bring it to attention that it is a previous topic, and it more often than not, has been in a nice way.
most message boards are like that. it goes back to the whole "popular" idea from high school.

Apu: Sir, such a product does not exist.
Homer: well then, lemme have a six-pack and a bag of skittles

i used to post on antsmarching.org for a while before i started posting here..i found this place to be a more friendlier closer community than ants becuase theres not a billion people here, and plus the people at ants can be duechebags sometimes...however, antsmarching.org is still a nice website with the tour central stuff and the downloads, and theres always something juicy you can download from the forums, but i stick around here

This place isn't the most active, but it's my favorite. I like it kinda smaller, makes it feel like more of a community. Like, I really enjoy a lot of the conversations and topics (although most of it's crap :) ), and I feel like I've met some great people here.

I've been a member of nancies and ants, but I can't say anything for ASTB. Nancies has a bunch of pricks and a lot of people over there are all high-and mighty. I hear a lot of, "I've been a fan since '96, so you obviously don't know shit!" Ants is okay, but there are some damn idiots over there.

Anyway, I like you guys quite a bit.
