Unread post by dbapollo » Sun Sep 12, 2004 7:37 am

Would you guys say that in terms of (at least):

- number of members
- frequency of posts

that the forum here in dmbtabs.com is the best and most active DMB forum on the net right now?

If not? what do you think is the best and most active?

In my opinion, boards that are really active get overwhelming

it was actually cut off way before then, about a half a year before that incident. The admin at the time, jsquires, i believe got tired of alter-egos on the bridge so he decided to cut off registration

Dude, this is such an old topic. Why are you beating it to death??? Do a search, you moron.

Actually, I'm just kidding.

I noticed this board was "nicer" and more "informative" than other sites when I first came here, but I do feel like a few of the members, with a million posts, feel like they own the board and tell people what is ok and not okay. ie: everytime someone puts up an old topic in a new thread, some, definitely not all, get pissed off like "how dare you" or something. Personally, I don't mind reading a fresh thread on an old topic. If it's a topic I've seen before, I don't read it or post on it. Note: It is very helpful sometimes, if someone does bring it to attention that it is a previous topic, and it more often than not, has been in a nice way.

You asked...so there's my 2 cents. If that pisses someone off, then that someone is probably a perpetrator.

To tell the truth, there's almost too many people here now.

I miss the days back when only 5 or so people had over 1000 posts.

Not to complain, this palce is better than anything else. Although, I troll the Bridge quite a bit.

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
