Problem with link to video plug in

Unread post by Davy28 » Sat May 10, 2003 6:07 pm

Hello!
Congrats on te new layout of the site! It looks very snazzy.
I'm having a problem with one of the links on th site. I want to download the video plugin so that I can see the videos, but when I click on the link that says: "click here to start dowload," there is no link. Normally when you move your cursur over a link, the little hand with an index finger shows up. When I move my cursor over the arrow for the video plugin download link, nothing shows up. I click on the link time and time again but nothing happens. Is it a problem with the site? Could it just be my computer?

I went to divx like billy said (thank you!), downloaded divx and installed it, but my damned video player continues giving me the "divx compressor not installed message," as if I had never installed it. You can hear the guitar playing, but there is still no picture. Any advice?

The real question is how to get the videos to play automatically on the divx player instead of the standard aol player that my computer uses.

Did you reboot your computer first ? Thats very much recommended as some drivers don't take effect b4 reboot ....

As for the changing player , you gotta change some settings .... Im not on a english Operating System right now so someone else better explain it to you :)
