Stefan's 7 - the Dreaming Tree
Spoon - Spoon
Chim Chimenny - the Stone
Don't Burn the Pig - Pig
Crush - Crush
Drop D - DDTW (and the fooling around with an intro became Bartender)
MacHead - ??????? (there is a big likely hood about Some Devil, IMO)
Egyptian - the Last Stop
Halloween - Halloween

NOW, the black dots are next to all the ones the Band pretty much worked on as a whole. The two without Dots are the two songs that weren't really worked out with the band (yes, DBTP was played a few times, but only as a jam, not a true song). So, obviously MacHead and DBTP were the two possible cuts not working out, hence why the dots aren't there.

Again, if the "Dot Theory" (what a nem, lol) I just said is right, that means that it would be a song that didn't work out with the band. Now Dave said that he had a handfull of songs that didn't work with the band, and they went to Some Devil. One of them could have been MacHead.

My question is..I would think that dave would've said like"this is what machead used to be" somewhere in an interveiw or something, wouldn't you?

id be pissed as hell, if machead turned out to be "i did it" in the end....

filmdude100cms (9:28:16 PM): 1. is that since machead was the last song they recorded before they started jamming to get the jams after songs, i assume there are afew machead elements in the jams, also, in most songs on BTCS there are little interludes/jams, and the producer and one of the few to hear the song, loved it, maybe he pushed for part to make the album, and that ultimatly machead is hidden in the jams

I actually agree with you on something Filmdude

My guess is that it evolved into a jam or an interlude on BTCS... or even multiple jams if Dave had a near-complete song.

I think if it was on Some Devil somewhere, it would have either been leaked (intentionally or not) or alluded to by Dave in an interview. Still, my money is on RT!

yes, the kind intentions is actually been pretty much proven wrong, i just used so that if some day it is true, then haha i knew it.... the demo its on was from around 91-93, cause peter doesnt play on all of them, but boyd is not on them, so its at an odd time...

but i too think that with all the jams in the songs on the album, and the producer loving the song, possibly one of the jams on the album is in fact machead, and we dont know it, after all, stuff from ASTB and DID is on there.
