Two random DMB questions from a newbie!

Howdy. My fiirst question is what is the significance of the fire-dancer logo that can be found all over DMB clothing and the website, etc? Does it have a meaning or is it just a pretty piece of art?

Secondly, what is a dancing nancy?

first: Dave drew it(or was it stefan?either or). He drew a lot of the art that dmb uses.

second: there is a story of dave in portugaul or something.. he was in a taxi and he said to the driver"Those are some nice looking girls over there" and the driver told him that they were nancies..dave questioned what that meant.. they were crossdressers. apparently dave felt the need to write about dancing nancies.
They're also known as dmbfans i believe.. such as people that like dmb are called nancies. dunno about that though

a dancing nancy came about when dave was in spain, he was in a cab and they went by the park, and dave saw allot of prosistutes, he said to the cab driver "lotta girls out tonight lookin for money" or sometihng of that nature, and the cab driver said, not necesarily women. so a dancing nancy is transexual prostitute.

as for the fire dancer logo hmmmmm. no idea
